Artscapes first opened its doors in 1988 as an art gallery and frame shop. Word of our high quality framing quickly spread, and we focused our energies on perfecting the craft. The DeSaisset Museum in Santa Clara commissioned us to design the moulding profile and frame the Edward S. Curtis Native American photography collection. The Cantor Center for the Arts at Stanford University secured our services to frame and preserve many of their major collections. The History Museums of San Jose, the San Jose Textile Museum, the San Jose Museum of Fine Arts are other institutions that require the high level of framing expertise that we provide. While our specialty is conservation and preservation framing, we have gained a loyal following with our design work. Our use of textures, color and fabric drew interior decorators, and art collectors who liked to apply their creative skills in displaying their art. Our goal is to is to provide the best product, using the best materials and the most advanced techniques available to provide the highest level of protection to best show off your artwork.
